Occupied Oakland

Marching from downtown Oakland to the Port of Oakland last night with thousands upon thousands of people as a proud representative of the 99% would have been inspiring under any circumstance.   Having my young daughter with me as my partner-in-protest was nothing short of magical.

I must admit, however, that the true highlight was our post-march jaunt to Shan Dong, our favorite restaurant in Oakland's Chinatown, chanting "What do we want?"  "Green onion pancakes"  "When do we want them?"  "Now!"
