Ted Sorensen, R.I.P.

Ted Sorensen died yesterday.  He was best known as JFK's speechwriter and was responsible for such epic passages as "ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.”  The New York Times described him "a writer and counselor who did much to shape the president’s narrative, image and legacy."  In 2007, he was asked to write the speech he would most want the next Democratic nominee to give at the party convention, with no particular candidate in mind.  Here it is.
