Great Jazz Albums (IMO) #5

Dexter Gordon. Go (1962).  Dexter Gordon has been described as the "top tenor saxophonist to emerge during the bop era and possessor of his own distinctive sound," and Go is one of his masterpieces.  The album "pops and crackles with energy and exuberance."  The quartet features the great Sonny Clark (see prior post) on piano.
