Is It Time for the Internet Only Bibliography?

Great post by the AVC (A Venture Capitalist):

His daughter turned in a paper with a bibliography that only contained Internet URLs. That was not allowed at her school. They insisted on reading and listing conventional textbooks and writing the paper instead of "cutting and pasting".

AVC asks if we really need to read dusty textbooks when Google Scholar, the coming Google Library, Answers.com and Wikipedia are available just a click away.

The online information is great, broad and very much up-to-date but are we at risk of becoming a generation of cut and pasters?
