Winter Wardrobe Shopping at Cookie's Kids

I have recently discovered a great online shopping site for children's clothing: Cookie's Kids!  I was on a mission to find Winter Wardrobe items for our 2 year old son and all the kiddos in our life.  I am a fan of a good deal and have found quite a few here.  I instinctually peeked at the Clearance section first, but quite honestly found great prices in every department that I browsed though.  In our family (my husband & I combined) we have 7 nephews and 4 nieces that range in age from 1 year to 12 years of age.  I admit that we do our share of "hand me down" clothing among the cousins - which is great for keeping the budget in check.  With the holidays upon us giving the gift of brand new items are in order! To be able to do that and stay within budget is shopping success in my book!

As I mentioned earlier, my primary focus was to get a few winter weather essentials.  Thermal underwear, mittens for possible trips to the snow, pajama sets, jackets - the works!  I was impressed with the variety of very well known brands sold by Cookie's kids and loved the "Cookie's Recommends" feature. Check it out! Make sure not to miss the Alva Kid's sizing guide too. Both were very helpful in my shopping process.

I was drawn to the Twenty Twenty "Trapper" Jacket and ultimately purchased it. I just couldn't pass it up for the price!  My purchase was quickly delivered via USPS and was even MORE wonderful in person!  I am very pleased with my choice.  My husband commented that he wanted an adult sized version for himself!  It really is super stylish!  The hood is removable - I love the added versatility. Here is a picture using the "rollover" feature which zooms in on the image to give you more detail of the item that you are shopping for.

The shopping part was easy but getting this little guy to pose for some photos... not so much. I will have to work on that!  Happy shopping all!
In reading the history of the company I was impressed with the humble beginnings of the company and wanted the share this family success story with you:

In 1972, a man named Cookie and his brother Marvin went into business together. They rented a 1600 square foot store in Queens, fixed it up, bought inventory and opened a day after Thanksgiving with a full stock of holiday toys. When that did well, they introduced clothing items and began to open new stores. Besides the latest fashions the brothers added shoes, toys, backpacks & accessories.  School uniforms are also available now! Cookie's Kids have grown to 7 stores in the NYC area: Bronx, Brooklyn and Jamaica.  AND online at CookiesKids.com!
