This post brought to you by Zenni Optical. All opinions are 100% mine.
I've been cursed with bad eyesight. I never liked carrots until I became an adult. My vision problems are primarily hereditary so I'm pretty sure that carrots wouldn't have made much of a difference. I have worn prescription eyeglasses since middle school. I once broke a pair in high school and had to tape up a pair! They broke and I had a volleyball game that day = no choice. I was mortified of course but now I find it funny that I had a real life "nerd" look with glasses! We won that game. Soon after I begged my parents for contact lenses! Now I wear both. I do prefer glasses though. They can be used to accessorize and come in so many different styles!
My husband just bought a brand new pair of glasses for himself. I was instantly envious since I'd love a new pair for myself! I am thinking RED, in honor of the holidays! I found a pair while browsing on ZenniOpitcal. What do you think of this pair to showcase my holiday spirit?!
I've owned more pairs of glasses than I can count. I have had practically every style you can think of. EXCEPT for a pair in red! I don't like to spend too much on frames since I tend to break them. I've smashed a pair or two (or three - you get the picture). They've been knocked off my bedside & accidentally stepped on. For me, glasses are an often replaced item so the fact that these frames are less than $20 is a big plus! Is anyone else in the market for inexpensive, OK I'll say it: cheap eyeglasses? Spending less than you need to is smart when you need a replacement pair as often as I do!
We are a family of eyeglass wearers. Already my two young nieces are in glasses. Our son just may take after my husband and I and need them too. ZenniOptical has a children's line as well. I know that the kids would prefer toys as gifts - but their parents may like the savings! I thought of purchasing another pair for my husband as a gift - but ended up shopping for myself! Let me know if you spot anything interesting!
