Letter From a Reader: To Puey Quinones From Peter Gregory

To Mr. Puey Quinones:

Prior and ONLY prior to legal proceedings, of which you will be served on expiry of the 10 days from this date, you have the chance to make an offer of settlement of restitution relating to allegations of theft, embezzlement, beach of trust, conspiracy to defraud, conspiracy to obtain pecuniary advantage, breach of trust, and, as your attorney will advise you, the conspiracy charges are the most serious, and we allege that we have sufficient statements to prove these charges.

You will be notified by my attorneys as to which civil charges we will pursue and which criminal charges will be lodged and my PR people will arrange coverage of your attendance at the police arraignment.

I realise that your sending me computer viruses means any meaningful response by you is unlikely, but my company's lawyers advise me that I must publicly give you this chance.

This constitutes formal notice no. 2.

Any financial offer must be validated by lawyers and proof of funds must be provided. The precise legal format of the offer will be determined by attorneys for submission to both parties.

Funds must be placed in an escrow account and must be validated by my own company lawyers prior to settlement.

Failure to do so will result in an immediate series of court summonses and press releases, verified by documents, a tape recording, and statements by witnesses and by bank officials and by original financial documents of the time of the frauds.

Criminal proceedings will be instituted by my local company lawyers. Any threats on your part or on the part of persons acting on your instructions will be made public and reports will be made for prosecution. .

A number of original documents and statements and our list of prosecution witnesses will be produced which your defence attorney is entitled to view pre-trial, as are my attorneys entitled to see your defence documents and to have a list of your witnesses. the press will be briefed by my company's Public relations people prior to the trials.

In the event of my death from colon cancer, my sister has power of attorney on behalf of my estate to continue proceedings.

After the expiry of the above deadline, contact may only be made via appointed attorneys.

As I work for an International press agency, I reserve the right to place news items on proceedings with them but of course you will be entitled to apply to the courts for a review.

Peter Gregory
