As you may have read in my prior post, I listed a sale item at Ann Taylor Loft for a Maternal America Nursing Scarf . I was in the market for something to use while nursing my son that didn't have to be smashed into the diaper bag. I love scarves and found my answer. The reason that I needed something other than the nursing cover that I was using (Udder Covers) is that my smart little baby is so alert that with every sound he hears he wants to check it out. He is a pro at playing Peek-a-Boo. Not good when trying to nurse in public. He quickly learned to push the cover so he could see his surroundings. I needed something more substantial. I received my order for the scarf and am very pleased. We haven't taken it for a test run yet but will do so over the weekend. Don't get me wrong I love my Udder Cover (Hate the name though). It is rigid along the neckline so that you and baby can have constant eye contact and lightweight enough that my son doesn't sweat like he is in a sauna. I have the one that is pictured on the right and really like the pattern. My new scarf is in white (Top left picture in black details use as a nursing cover) and is made of a billowy material which is a tad more sheer than I anticipated. It does offer more coverage than the Udder Cover that my son has learned to manipulate and can be worn around my neck as a scarf. I was pleasantly surprised when I looked at the invoice. For some reason they only charged me $8.95. Bonus.
