Girl Interrupted: The Final Chapter

This actress has been in and out of the hospital because of her drug overdose problem. Late last year, she was brought in the hospital looking very ill. She confessed to the doctor that she has been experimenting with different drugs. After running several tests on her, the results indicated that she has high levels of Methamphetamine (Shabu), Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (Ecstacy), and Benzodiazepines (Downers) in her body. This means that she has been hooked on these drugs for a long period of time. In her two weeks of confinement, she was very paranoid and she did not want any light to enter the room. The doctor diagnosed her with a severe case of depression.

Earlier this year, family members and friends rushed her to the emergency room of the same hospital with a piece of cloth covering her face and body. When the group arrived, it was as if the doctors already knew that they were coming. They were not asked to wait in the emergency room but instead she was confined immediately without having to go through the process. The doctors never mentioned about her presence in the hospital. No one was allowed in her room besides her doctors. One of her doctors even posted an "out of order" sign on the door to prevent any other hospital personnel from entering. A few rooms away, her father was also confined in spite that he was not sick so that they will have an excuse in the event that the press asks about the family's presence in the hospital. The dad stayed in the hospital during the entire period of his daughter's confinement. This time around, her drug test results indicated even higher levels than the previous one.

Apparently, although she and her husband still live in one house, their marital problem has been ongoing for quite some time because of her drug addiction. To make things worse,  they are legally obligated to portray the happy family image because of their endorsement contract.
