Dexter Gordon has been described as the "top tenor saxophonist to emerge during the bop era." You can see why here, where he nails the Tadd Dameron composition Lady Bird. This is from a 1964 date in Belgium with George Gruntz on piano, Guy Pedersen on drums, and Daniel Humair on drums.
