Doctors, Scobleizer, Tweeple and Presidential Election on Twitter

Twitter is a microblogging service where people answer the question "What are you doing?" via 140-character messages from their cellphone, laptop or desktop. Tweeple means Twitter people, members or users. Healthcare professionals use the service for all sorts of interesting posts and discussions. One example is shown below -- the oldest post is at the bottom, the newest at the top:

Fat Doctor
FatDoctor Several nurses upset about election results, so I must try not to appear as happy as I feel.
Fred Wilson
fredwilson family moment: barack wins, gotham gal's crying, jess says 'dad, why arent you crying" emily: 'because he's twittering'

atask
atask ABC says families with incomes over $200K voting 53% for Obama. You mean, some people don't think about $$ first and foremost? Strange.

Vijay
scanman R/T rdjfraser: As a Canadian, I am excited for 2 things, 1) to see Obama as President, 2) to see twitter stop talking about the US election

Vijay
scanman LOL @medpiano. But the Chinese may swing towards McCain. Then we'd have a problem.

DrGourmet
DrGourmet I love living here in New Orleans. It's 5 blocks to WholeFoods, 3 to the grocery, 4 to vote, 5 to Audubon park, 6 to the movies. Beautiful!

ruraldoctoring
ruraldoctoring Win, lose or draw, I'm glad Senator Obama got to see his grandma before she died. 20 yrs from now that will mean a lot to him.
