How to Buy the Right Tablet?
Since the introduction of iPad in 2010, different brands of tablet PCs have been launched in the market. Though iPad wasn't the first tablet ever developed, the successful marketing and sleek design made it popular quickly among gadget lovers. At present, about a dozen of various manufacturers are producing tablet computers. With so many options available, anyone can find it hard to choose a right tablet. So, what are the things to consider while buying a tablet? Here are five simple tips to help you choose the right tablet computer.
How are you going to use it?
If you are looking for a tablet simply to watch movies, check e-mail, or browse the Web, any model will do the job for you. But if you are planning to use your tablet for some specific purpose, you can easily narrow down the options. Will your tablet be mainly for personal use, school or work? Do you plan to utilize your tablet for plenty of movie watching or gaming, or is it for some general use, such as Facebook, checking e-mail or browsing the Web? Once you find answers to these questions you will be able to find a right tablet with proper screen size and operating system.
Compare Operating System and Apps
Figure out which operating systems do you prefer to use. Some of the common operating systems are Apple iOS, Windows, Android, and BlackBerry's QNX. While QNX is specific to the PlayBook and iOS is specific to iPad, Windows and Android operating systems can be found on different brands of tablets. Also check out Apple OS X Mountain Lion Vs Windows 8.
Compare Features
Different models of tablet come with different features. Even if you go for iPad 2, you will need to select from a 3G model and a standard Wi-Fi model. Then you will have a choice of 64GB, 32GB or 16GB of storage. After then you will need to decide the color, black or white. If you plan to go with Windows or Android tablet, you will need to compare the features of various models. Look at specifications like add-on accessories, cameras, processing speed, storage capacity, 3G or 4G or Wi-Fi access, and battery life. You may also want to take a look at some accessories like external keyboards, speakers, remote controls, wall mounts and stands.
Compare Appearance and Size
Even if you are planning to buy the tablet online, it is better to go to the store and have a closer look at the device you are considering. Make sure about the size of tablet you want. The screens of tablets range from 7 inches to 10 inches, and weight can vary from 1 pound to 2.5 pounds. Go for the one that you feel right to you. Do the controls and the case feel sturdy and comfortable in your hands? How are the virtual keyboard and the touch screen? Also don't forget to compare the screen resolutions and brightness.
Consider Price
You are in great shape if your desired model falls within the budget range you have set. But if that is not the case, make sure you compare Androids to Androids or Apples to Apples in terms of size, Internet access, processing speed and storage, as tablets within the similar product line can come in different performance levels and models.

Samsung Galaxy S4 appear in April and will receive a revolutionary display
According to Reuters, Samsung has decided to expedite the release of the next generation flagship smartphone - they hit the market in April and will be equipped with revolutionary displays.
Leading foreign analysts believe that Samsung will reduce cycle exit flagship devices and release Galaxy S4 not in May (as was the case with the Galaxy S III), and in April. In addition, it will have a distinct advantage over any other flagship devaysa as a distinct "from the crowd" - unbreakable display.
UBS analyst firm reports that Samsung is ready to begin mass production of plastic substrates for OLED-matrix, the use of which will make the smartphone screen impervious to shock and other physical damage. In the future, with the help of this technology will make smartphones with flexible displays.
"In the end, they still will introduce unbreakable and flexible displays - we see them or Galaxy S4, or Galaxy S5. This will be a new milestone in the development of the mobile industry," - says Stanford Bernstein analyst Mark Newman.
Samsung declined to comment on Reuters this information.
According to recent reports, Samsung Galaxy S4 is equipped with a 4.99-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Pixel density will increase from 306 (a Galaxy S III) to 441 ppi, far left, and the main competitor - iPhone 5, which is "only" 326 ppi. The new flagship will also get a powerful quad-core Exynos processor with a clock frequency of 2 GHz and 13-megapixel camera .

START OF PRODUCTION OF SAMSUNG GALAXY S4
Resource DigiTimes , citing anonymous sources, reputable, provides information on the following: the company Samsung Electronics is developing a new smartphone series S, which will be equipped with a screen with a pixel density of 441ppi. The process is not very active, as Samsung Display (OSD unit) experience significant difficulties in the production of LCD panels.
The point is this. It is assumed that the new smarfton Series Samsung Galaxy S will be installed 5-inch AMOLED-panel. Samsung Display is not yet able to master the mass production of such screens using thermal vacuum deposition technology, what is the turns too rough for such a display.
DigiTimes reports that Samsung Display intend to use technology LITI of ZM, which precisely deliver OLED-components on the glass. Sources claim that the Samsung Display difficulty mastering new technology (especially for blue), which delayed the start of production of new screens. That's why Samsung Electronics may not have time with the release of the next Galaxy S smartphone series as scheduled.

Samsung is working on a 8-core chip for tablets and smartphones
The company Samsung plans in early 2013 to provide an 8-core mobile processor, designed for use in tablets and smartphones. It is expected that the Corporation will demonstrate the new product at the conference ISSCC (San Francisco, 17 - 21 February).
Concept of chip technology will be ARM big.LITTLE. This configuration involves placing a single crystal of a weak processor, low power consumption, and much more powerful. The first will be assigned simple tasks: background, book, audio output, and the second - CPU-intensive tasks such as surfing the internet in the networks LTE, games, etc.
NVIDIA has used this configuration in the ARM-processor Tegra 3 (to save energy use an auxiliary low-voltage core, perform a simple task).
According to EETimes, Samsung will share the new 28-nanometer "system on a chip" into two clusters on the four cores: one with low-power 1.2-GHz ARM Cortex A7, the second - with core Cortex A15 (1,8 GHz and 2 MB L2- cache).
AndroidHeadlines believes that originally the manufacturer will release a light version of the processor (for a smartphone Galaxy S IV), which may also be composed of two clusters, but the 2-core (2 2 A7 + A15). Full version of the same (4 +4), according to the blog will come somewhere in the middle of 2013 and will be applied in the new Galaxy Tab tablets and Galaxy Note.

Tablet Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD Review
Create tablet MediaPad FHD 10 was a big step of Huawei, the result will be a pretty good device, especially for multimedia playback.
Tablet PC is equipped with 10.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:10. The device is 8.8 mm thick and weighing in at 580 grams - a little more difficult than it seems at first glance, but here it is necessary to pay tribute to the aesthetic side of the unit. For example, Samsung Galaxy Note 10/1 , which is 20 grams heavier than the MediaPad, looks easier, simply because its external decoration is made of plastic, huge sound speakers on the front panel, and a digital pen. On the other hand designers MediaPad 10 FHD worked hard to hide these elements, with the sound of the speakers remain loud and clear.
Speaker tablet supports Dolby Surround, and you can get an explosive sound, if you hold the device in a certain way or just put it to the wall. As in the rest of the tablets of the last generation, the dynamics of this device is also located on the rear panel. But even though we want the front speakers were still their sound on this tablet is much better than the vast majority of devices, including smartphones.
The tablet is available in several configurations of internal memory - 8, 16, or 32 GB. Battery capacity - 6600 mA / h, to charge you want to use a unique port in the bottom of the tablet. There also are several ports for adding accessories, such as keyboards.
Display tablet relatively sharp, with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, though the pixel density of 224ppi - significantly lower than the iPad 4G - 263.92ppi, or have Google Nexus 10, which has a 300ppi. If you have not seen either one of these plates close, in which case you decide that MediaTab FHD quite bright and clear.
This tablet is not much different from many other high-performance tablet on the market, and its value is closer to the original Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.
Software and Performance
The tablet has a slightly modified version of the operating system Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The modification is not to add new features, but rather reflects the desire to improve the Huawei device interface. So, the phone is completely absent the application section, everything is in the public domain, as in MIUI or iOS, where desktops and applications are combined.
Also slightly changed the default settings on the tablet features, but they are not very important. This device has not been created with the goal of winning the championship in the U.S. tablet market, which explains why Huawei is not very zealous over a set of functions, especially in the software. Watch movies, downloaded or transferred to the tablet using a standard custom application, or listen to MP3, in addition, can rely on a set of multimedia applications Google, which certainly is one of the most advanced options of all the resources of this company at the moment.
Conclusion
This device - a great addition to the world of tablets running Android, offering unique options that used to be found in the Samsung or iPad Apple. But if you need a tablet of the highest quality based on Android, announced in today's market, it is best to look at the Galaxy Note 10.1, due to its stable ecosystem and belonging to the family of the more advanced gadgets such.
But, on the other hand, if you want a certain novelty of tablets Android, and you do not mind the fact that your gadget will be well very similar to Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, Huawei - what you need. Strong dynamics, a pretty good display and a guarantee that you will be the sole owner of this model in your environment, make this tablet is very attractive. Source Slashgear.com

Samsung NX20 - one of the first system cameras with built-in Wi-Fi
This allows users to use the camera data transfer without a laptop and memory cards. The very same camera takes 20-megapixel photos, up to 8 per second, shoots Full HD video and tries to prove that the market there is a decent alternative products Sony and Panasonic.
Samsung has already learned how to produce electronics, various accessories and, of course, smart phones, for which the phrase "typical Samsung» sounds like a compliment. With the cameras, however, have so far Samsung are not that good. The company is actively experimenting, but in general technology, well-established in smartphones and tablets, digital cameras are perceived cool enough.
Samsung cynically trying to change the reality for themselves. First we saw the cameras sensor, then their interfaces become suspiciously like smartphones. Later appeared lenses button iFn, which serves as a convenient customizable control. Finally, Wi-Fi-compatible, which allows you to quickly take photos and videos to social networks, and there will not have to lure - all we've been sitting on a hook Like & Share. And while we were testing NX20, Samsung unveiled the debut camera based on Android ( Samsung Galaxy Camera ).
Samsung NX20 is not got one, and in the company of two younger models: NX210 and NX1000. We'll talk about them separately, although in this material around their attention will not work. The target audience of new products, probably involves active young people and lovers of travel.
The case design has not changed much when compared to the Samsung NX11. NX20 comes in a plastic case, which weighs about 350, is not to say that the camera is assembled poorly, but after a long operation you will definitely notice some flaws in the case, creaking and the like.
With his size, Samsung NX20 with APS-C sensor was only a little more camera Micro Four Thirds, so that the main aspect - its compactness - preserved. The use of whale lens 18-55 makes this DSLR camera ergonomics. But in the case of compact "pancake" it is quite petite. What has changed in comparison to the external NX11?
The first pen camera changed to provide a more tenacious, that is a comfortable grip. The camera fits comfortably in your hand, no complaints there. All the buttons are clearly signed and conveniently located. On the front panel there is a metal mount, and a button to preview depth of field (aperture repeater) and a small AF illuminator.
At the bottom of the case there is a compartment for the battery and memory card. And the bottom is a metal mount for mounting on a tripod. On the left hand side there is a rubber cap with a slot for the AV and USB-cable and HDMI-port for connecting the camera to a TV. And because of the swivel screen space for connecting the remote is not left at all. However, Samsung have found a solution, and much more tech and modern. About it later.
The camera has a built-in flash with a guide number of 11 at ISO 100. This is a standard element for the initial reflex cameras. Flash output enough to make people a short distance at night. The flash is raised by pressing a special button. "Hot Shoe" at the camera as is, you can only install there are two models of flashes Samsung - SEF-42A and SEF-20A.
Next to the "hot shoe" on top of the Samsung NX20 are microphones for sound recording when shooting movies. Sound, of course, written in stereo. Drum shooting modes includes auto SMART, as well as Creative Zone modes P / A / S / M, no flash, custom, video. Also submitted to the drum mode point Wi-Fi. On other compact cameras, it is included at the touch of a button. It should be noted that among the 16 scene modes have everything you need for any, even the most demanding photographer.
In addition to the building there is a scroll wheel for fast control settings, metering button, green customized button (probably borrowed from Pentax, which Samsung has worked for a long time.) The shutter button is framed on-off lever.
The back of the camera is the display, which we describe later, and a set of control buttons. This is the exposure compensation button, lock the focus and metering, the menu button and the function menu, the blue button playback and delete images. Traditional joystick itself acts as a multifunctional management body - here and control ISO, continuous shooting, auto focus and display. Drive around the joystick is fast control / navigation in the menu. Something similar is done in a compact camera Nikon Coolpix P7700 .
