Someone (SO) is posting random pictures of herself with a very popular actor (VP). Sources claim SO is the daughter of a character actress. There seems to be nothing wrong with posting pictures, right? However, could the pictures tell more than what they show? Is she a special girl in the life of VP?

Uh oh. Here lies the problem. First, VP is not single and is committed to a young feisty actress (YF). Second, it seems that VP is back to his alleged old ways.

VP has been going out with the same group, which is a mixture of the hip crowd of this generation, and is the same company of one of his earlier relations. If the gang is not clubbing, they stay at a friend’s house until the sun shines. Worse, VP’s company is noted for doing “stuff."  Worst, it’s alleged that the source of their daily “stuff” is none other than VP himself. Perhaps, VP does not mind the cost of the "stuff" as he is on top of raking in money for his network.

Sadly, YF is nearing her saturation point and can no longer stand the booze, the girls, and the alleged habit. On the one hand, will YF call it quits any time and show that she has learned her lesson from her past relationship? On the other hand, will YF just take the behavior of VP with a grain of salt and hope he will come to his senses?

The other question is the seeming deafness and blindness of the network of VP with regard to his alleged activities. Is the network tolerating VP because he is one of their most bankable actors? While VP might be ruining himself under the guise of living his life fully, can’t the network have the heart to help him live a cleaner life, and make him a true role model just like his public image?

The Lingering Attitude of the Actor

As the tensions in this teledrama continue to rise, the production has imposed a ban on visiting fans on the set so the stars can focus more on their drama scenes. Although fans are often welcome on the set, they can sometimes cause delay and add to the intense atmosphere during a taping.

In this particular soap, all but one lead actor (LA1) adhered to the directive. His fans arrived at the set despite the ban. When the production assistant (PA) of the other lead actor (LA2) saw the presence of fans, PA asked the production about it. When LA1 found out that the PA was the one who asked, he yelled at the PA. Naturally, PA told LA2 about how LA1 screamed at him. Then, LA1 and LA2 ended up screaming at each other. LA1 and LA2 are not into fighting, hence no fists were exchanged at the height of their yelling, and there was no slapping nor hair pulling as well.

After some time, the business unit head arrived and inquired about what transpired. LA1 acted as though nothing happened and even denied that such an incident occurred. However, someone from the production came forward and testified he saw and heard everything. LA1 could not say anything more as the witness was someone he should not entangle with.

This incident is just one of the events that have added to the ill feelings of production people towards LA1. His makeup artist left him. Then, even the in-house makeup artist got irritated when LA1 demands to be fixed first. LA1 does not pay nor does he give tips. LA1 has only done a few dramas and some commercials, yet success has gone to his head. He might have a hard time lasting in the business if no one can get along with him. As for LA2, he might have his own idiosyncrasies, but he is not as arrogant as LA1.

Every Deal is a Joy that Bears Value

Competition in showbiz is getting more and more competitive and fiercer by the day. Having talent and good looks alone will not land you a decent star status. You better have the right connections, a pedigree or royalty status to back you up, too. And what’s more, unless you know how to kowtow and do PR with the right people, you might as well forget your “artista” dream.

Showbiz to most people is the ultimate dream to fame and fortune, an answer to their misery, want and deprivation. To most watchers it is an addiction, an opium, a cult. A passport to instant riches if you are extremely lucky. The biblical phrase, “Many are called but few are chosen, ” also applies aptly in our local entertainment world.

Since there are many gifted and talented stars, not everyone manages to get a slice of the small pie. There is certainly a big gap for supply versus demand - many stars waiting for only a few projects available. So if you do not want to be caught flat-footed, you got to do your homework and learn to be smart.

To get projects, some stars resort to being ‘buddies’ with the “powers that be,” so to speak. Still others go beyond being just ‘buddies’ – if you get the drift. While still others go the safer route. Like this handsome but not so young actor HA who has to do some expensive gift-giving to a network top gun TG.

Reportedly, HA‘s projects just come and go, which is quite understandable since he is not that bankable anymore and as such had already seen better days. HA is a family man and needs every project to keep his family safe and sound. Thus to be able to get some favors, he and his manager decided to woo TG by giving him an expensive art piece. TG liked it so much and had it displayed in his new home.

Soon after, HA got word that he would be cast in the network’s newest project. So there you go: different strokes for different folks.

His Jangled Musical Notes

There's this notoriety in networks NE to make its popular stars do something else that is not in their line of expertise. To showcase them right away in public without utmost preparation becomes a major embarrassment especially for the stars concerned.

For example, when a star ST becomes very popular via a hit teleserye, you can already predict what the next move of NE would be: have the star record a song or even an album without ample amount of preparation. Or it can be the other way around: the popular winner in a singing contest is made to star  in a teleserye even if ST can barely act at all, or is not yet ready for it. It is okay to be multi-talented, but to rub these ill-prepared ST's in on the public's conciousness is really punishing both for the stars and the viewing public.

During a recent event in a big mall, a popular and talented actor TA was there to promote his album. Expectedly, a lot of people went to see and hear him sing live. He sang a cut from his album before a very enthusiastic audience. However, midway into the song, TA was not able to hold his own as he sang out-of-tune. The audience was tolerant for a while and even showed polite appreciation. 

However as TA was at it, his singing went haywire and the polite crowd became unforgiving this time. TA did not expect what was forthcoming – he was booed right then and there! Shocked and embarrassed, TA retreated backstage as soon as he finished his number. Indeed – what a tense number!

Raving for Comfort and Vigor

Hunky actor HA was probably inspired by the success of his much younger and more popular brother PB that he, too, decided to join the showbiz bandwagon. To be fair to him, he is as talented if not more talented than PB. Apart from  being a good dancer,  HA can confidently carry a tune, too. He had to his credit done considerable number of tv shows over the years. Some people say  that HA has a lot more sex  appeal than PB, who like him is a great dancer, too. Being good looking,  HA has obviously gained fans and admirers, including gay admirers, too.

Both PB and HA take care of their bodies a lot knowing that in the highly competitive world of showbiz, all things being equal, having a great physique is what makes the cut. HA has to prove himself harder ‘though as he has yet to reach the status of bro PB. That’s why he is a very disciplined lot, taking his workouts seriously and passionately, never wanting to miss any session.

One of his regular gym mates is one talented actor TA, a reality search winner and a homegrown talent. TA who is a looker himself is as intense both personally and professionally. He has proven himself very well as an actor and is a passionate artist as well. He and HA share many things in common that ultimately brought them real close together. 

Being regular gym buddies, their friendship blossomed such that they not only are gym buddies but also do other stuff together like going to the spa and sauna. In other words, both HA and TA have become far too close for comfort. To some extent, this may be okay.  But if people close to you start to feel some kind of cringe and discomfort, then that’s when it becomes a bother.

When too much closeness has reached a level that is more than just friendship, even more than just bromance. – then it’s time to take a long hard look. Just a thought – what could  be their girlfriends thinking?

Parrying Public Opinion

Good-looking celebrity GC has always kept own gender issues a secret. For the most part, GC gets away with it but not without the usual bashing from avid showbiz followers.

In the beginning GC was successful in hiding GC's true identity. GC was fantacized by countless admirers, even network top guns fell for GC's irresistible charm and sex appeal. GC has had several brushes with the opposite sex that's why people are in a quandary about GC's real sexuality. Yet GC doesn't succumb to pressure to come out and proclaim the truth in public. Seems, GC is enjoying the mystery in the public eye and consciousness.

When GC's  teleserye opposite a more popular star PS began airing, it was such a hit that their fans contended that the love angle between GC and PS was for real. For a while GC rode on with the public re PS. But when PS belatedly shown disinterest with their tandem's being made to look like real, PS slowly severed from GC especially when PS was the one who caught GC red handed being with same-sex partner. 

But the very professional and level-headed GC can never be put down just so easily. To this day, GC is well loved by peers and network bosses if only for the kind of attitude GC brings into - both personally and professionally. GC's kindness rubs off on people, quite a tough act to follow, others say. But still some passionate haters/bashers won't just stop.

GC's frequent public sightings with a popular star PS had people speculate that they are the new couple. But those in GC's circle know only too well that it is near impossible. PS' new single-blessedness seems not ready for a new adventure. People in GC's circle think the frequent sightings with PS is just a 'beard', or a camouflage.

Nothing was written about it, but GC has had a long-time partner in the person of a very cool and hot medical representative MR. Both GC and MR complement each other in terms of looks, as MR is also a shoo-in for movie star looks. GC loves MR very much as MR deeply cares. Sometime ago, the athletic GC met an accident that gave GC bruises all over the body. When interviewed about the accident, GC said it felt good. Felt good? Really?

MR was there with GC  all the way to give that special TLC. Hmmm, was that why it felt so good? Indeed!

Anticipated Ending of a Soap

The cast was considered too brave for an afternoon soap (AS), but the network believed the singer and the two hunks could pull off the project. At the start, there was too much interest  because Hunk 1 (H1) is so fresh from the overwhelming success of his last soap. Second, Hunk 2 (H2) who was missed by fans is finally in a project. Third, the singer (TS) was exploring other avenues to help sustain her exposure and fame. Of course, the promo plugs were catchy (with the hunks showing off their abs) and interesting as well.

A few months into the airing, it seems that advertisers were not too keen on AS. Although the actors did their best, TS had a hard time projecting the right emotions. In other words, TS was not too great in the acting department, and did not register well on screen. Chemistry among the leads was amiss, too.

AS was then moved to another timeslot to give way to another soap. Immediately, the ratings dropped, which surprised everyone. Currently, AS is swinging from one- to two-digit ratings. Meanwhile, there are talks that a new soap, which was originally meant for primetime, might replace AS soon. Will TS be given another acting project or should the network enrol her first in more workshops to hone her talent further before giving her another?

Good Riddance or Great Loyalty?

As the first quarter of the year ends, the contracts of several talents of a major network (MN) are nearing their expiration. As early as now, the rumor mill is abuzz with who are leaving and who are staying with their current networks. First, singer actress (SA) is allegedly being lured by network A (NA) with a multi-million deal. While SA has kept quiet, stories are now spreading about her replacement in a project in which she was supposed to be the lead actress.

Second, top performer (TP) is also another talent who is rumored to have an offer from the same network. However, no word has been released by the camp of TP if he will be doing the great plunge. If he does, then his current network will lose a great entertainer, and his shows will have to find someone to take over to fill his creative genius.

Third, controversial actor (CA), who has spent almost his entire career with his current network, has a contract that will expire by mid-year. While he is considered as one of the talents most gorgeous looking hunks, his career seemed to be at a standstill as his exposure has been very minimal since his last TV project. While speculations are pointing towards getting a contract with network B (NB), there really is no big contract being dangled at CA. NB is not keen on hiring CA as the network anticipates potential problems that might come with his management. His management is not known for keeping matters quiet.

While, network C (NC) is also a possible new home, NC is not keen on CA as he is not that famous or could command as much interest as he did when he was just starting out. CA is also caught in a controversy in which he has opted to deny and to keep quiet about an alleged possible addition to their family.

Who will remain loyal? Who will leave? Who will MN let go, SA, TP, or CA?

Reality dictates, “It is the logic of consumerism that undermines the values of loyalty and permanence and promotes a different set of values that is destructive of family life" (Christopher Lasch).

Just a Botched Attempt to Take Him Home

Versatile celebrity (VC) got smitten with character actor (CA) that he took the chance to be close to him at a gathering. After a long night of drinking, most of the guests were already drunk, and so was CA. Slowly, VC started to make the moves with a few subtle touches here and there. CA was quite drunk, and he seemed to not mind what VC was doing.

When it was time to go home, VC insisted on bringing CA home. VC collected the stuff of CA and was ready to bring it to his car. He was already pulling CA, but got shocked. CA suddenly refused the offer, and said in a loud voice that he did not want to go with VC as something might happen.

Poor VC, he was unsuccessful in his attempt to bring home CA that night. VC cannot be blamed for being attracted to CA as the scruffy look and bad boy image of CA do cut across genders. Besides, CA is also a convincing actor when he plays villain roles. Well, if at first you don’t succeed, you can try again. Will VC give it another try?

Is She His Girl?

Has Young Heartthrob (YH) found the love of his life? YH and his "girlfriend” were seen together publicly in a province down south when YH had a concert with other hunks from his network. If she is indeed the one, is his network aware of this? The girl who is not from showbiz is allegedly into a relationship with YH for a few months already. These photos might break a few hearts. YH is the next important young hunk from his batch, and while the network has tried to pair him off with other stars, nothing seemed to click. As always, questions will be raised. Will YH admit that she is special, or will management intervene and instruct him to say “no comment?"

Just Rekindling an Old Flame?

Confused Actor CA and Beautiful Celebrity BC are now getting to be an item. Recently, CA seems not to care  about his image and his career appears to go nowhere as well. Looks like these days, he prefers the company of BC over his Girlfriend GF. BC was CA's former partner but they had a controversial falling out, with no proper closure, so to speak.

CA happily moved on from one relationship after his episode with BC. Yet he still continued to be hounded by controversies involving BC after these years. Some observers felt that it might be because BC had a hard time recovering after her relationship with CA. But she eventually moved forward months after, and even tried dating other guys. 

At present CA is in a relationship, something that is supposed to make him glow and get inspired. However observers say that the opposite is what is happening to him. CA's recent activities and sightings on and off camera seem to scream disaster. His quarrels with GF  have also become more and more frequent, according to the to the people around them.

His fans and followers are worried sick that they are seeing a different CA like never before. If reports are to be believed, CA's troubled  relationship with GF might soon be over as well. Are their frequent quarrels involve BC as well? Recently, He and BC were seen walking along the the hallway of a condo building in the dead of night after visiting a common friend. Nothing wrong. But walking together while holding hands, and embracing is another story. 

Is CA getting lost, confused, and charting his own downfall both in his professional and personal life? As Fernando Pessoa once said,  “In order to understand, I destroyed myself.” Let us just hope that this is not what CA is doing.

Don't Condone His Lies!

More often, being a family member or relative of someone influential will get you some amount of perks aka built-in advantage. It is for this reason that there are wealthy people who are not content with just being rich, because apart from the financial bliss, being in a position of power brings in a certain level of celebrity status and influence. This largely explains why the lure of politics seems to be very addicting and contagious… and toxic, too, to say the least.

Not a few will contest that once seated in position, some of these power hungry “public servants” will circumvent the law once they or any family member gets in trouble. “What are we in power for?” is an oft-repeated phrase or ‘mantra’ whispered and practiced among themselves. Coined by a supposedly honorable senator decades ago, the quote caught on and is now being used and abused. Seriously, “what are we in power for” has now become the face of most public servants -- the rule rather than the exception.

An occasional actor OA who is the son of a veteran actor and public servant AP was driving his car drunk when he hit a girl in her 20’s GR  walking along the road. GR was hurt but managed to get up, only to find OA speeding away from the scene – in short – hit and run. But onlookers saw it was OA who was behind the wheel -- drunk. OA is a resident of that southern town and his presence is a familiar sight among residents there. Witnesses were able to record the car’s plate number and other details. Since he is known to be the son of AP, his residence was easily tracked down.

GR got herself treated in the hospital for wounds and bruises. Soon after, together with her uncle, they went to the residence of OA with the intention of reporting the matter to his father AP. When they were finally face to face with him, GR and her uncle told him of the accident involving OA’s drunk-driving that hit GR. To their surprise, AP denied it outright, saying that his son is in no way guilty of the accusation and will never do a hit and run.

In his usual arrogant manner, he made GR and her uncle appeared like bullies accusing his son, instead of the other way around. Oh boy!

At any rate, what do we expect? His actuation is a foregone conclusion. He has been a big disappointment as a public servant, even causing headaches to the current head of the region.

Interlocking Stories of the Network’s Young Stars

Promising Actor (PA) seems to be the most competent among the young actors being built by the network. Not only does PA have the boyish smile, he has the best acting skills among his peers. Instead of focusing on him alone, the network has packaged him as the other half of a loveteam, to a young actress (YA) who is known for having a stagemother. To be fair to YA, she has publicly stated that she is bent on finishing her studies, while waiting if her stint in the network can launch her to stardom.

Meanwhile, the network is also pairing off PA with talented performer (TP), who was built up to be the partner of Promising Singer (PS). The partnership between TP and PS was good at the beginning as both could match each other in terms of performance. However, it was pushed to the limit when it was made to appear that both of them had something real going on. Yet rumors have it that the real girlfriend of PS is another young actress (AY) who has recently jumped to his network. Thus, any attempt to link TP and PS for real would be for naught despite their very strong fan base. This fan base might be a hindrance in case PS would be paired with AY.

Incidentally, observers lament how PS does not have the work ethics of his family members in showbiz. He would often be late for rehearsals or he would not be there at all. Allegedly, PS is indulging in drinking sprees and other bad habits with AY. Sadly, TP, with all her talent, exposures and breaks, still hardly makes the cut.

As to whether the love team of PA and TP will click seems to be far-fetched as the fans of their other partnerships are not supportive at all. Besides, some people smell something fishy with PA. As to who among PA, YA, TP, AY, and PS will survive and reach stardom in their current network, we can just wait and see.

These young stars, specially PS, can learn a thing or two from John Wooden, “Be more concerned with your character than your reputation because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.”

To Whip Up and Keep His Desire

After the network NE launched its new roster of talents , rumor mill was abuzzed with talks of a budding relationship between a newbie personality NB and a person of influence PI. But contrary to what’s being circulated, the rumor, err -- the relationship is nothing new.

Even before the talent launch, one of its personalities NB was already getting its share of controversy. The truth is that even when NB was still in the competition in a reality show RS, he had already caught the attention of PI. PI was said to be so attracted and enamored with NB that he committed to himself to take care of him once he was done with the RS - win or lose.

PI is known to be a generous benefactor to whoever catches his fancy (read: boylets BY). Being in a position of influence, he can easily cast in his project/s whoever he wants, much more if it is a BY he is currently fascinated with. And when it comes to promises made to his BY’s, PI definitely delivers. Proof? Right after NB got out of RS, PI lost no time and immediately cast him in one of his shows. If that is not walking the talk, then what is? Such is PI’s reputation.

His latest conquest, NB is now reaping the fruits of being under his TLC. As long as he “behaves,” NB will never be lacking in projects - just like what the other BY’s before him were.

Attraction or Retaliation

After a major controversy that shook network executives, there seems to be a continuing salvo starring two of its players. After a brief respite, Overbearing Actress OA is at it again without let up.

Recently there were sightings of OA lurking somewhere within the area where pretty actor PA resides. Witnesses in the vicinity WV say they started seeing OA recently and so far, she had been spotted there for at least three consecutive days already. Whatever it is in OA’s mind is quite baffling, to say the least. Why baffling? WV said they would see her just sitting alone in her car parked at least a few meters away from PA’s vicinity. She would not get off the car at all. Then she would only leave when she sees PA leaves in the morning.

WV say that it’s hard to say if what OA exhibits is some kind of a fatal attraction towards PA. Given her age, her personality, and the kind of experience she had with PA, stalking him may or may not be something she would be capable of.

For some people who know her, OA is an unpredictable lot – as unpredictable as the weather brought by climate change. Sudden outbursts are nothing new to her as proved by the many situations she got embroiled in in the past. Which was why OA’s latest, the one with PA, was what made the network think tanks reconsider their plans.

And now that there had been numerous sightings of her stalking PA, this might prove another difficult task to hurdle and disprove for her overworked handlers.

Question is, "What is OA really after PA? Is it attraction or retaliation?

Presumptuous Comment of the Actor

The phrase, prima donna, refers to “a very temperamental person with an inflated view of their own talent or importance.” In local showbiz, the term crosses genders and could refer to actors as well. Thus, no other phrase aptly describes the attitude this lead actor (LA) showed during a shooting.

During the shooting of a movie with an award winning director (AD), LA approached him, and said nonchalantly, “Direk, will our movie earn? It does not look promising.” Upon hearing the comment of LA, AD felt insulted because it was as if LA did not know he was talking to one of the pillars of the local movies. AD rose from the ranks and made his way to becoming a box-office director with his dramatic movies. What was more infuriating was that LA had the guts to tell that to AD as he himself has yet to prove his box office draw. Becoming a household name becasue of one teleserye is nothing compared even to the individual achievements of the two actresses (A1 and A2) working with him in the movie.

Incidentally, at one point, LA, A1, A2, and AD all worked for one network. While A1 and A2 got breaks, LA was always among the supporting cast until he moved to his new network. As for A1 and A2, their careers are as colorful as the controversies of their personal lives. AD has moved to another network, and has directed some of the best movies and teleseryes in most of the movie outfits and major networks, respectively.

Is LA already drowning in a glass of water? As rumors have it, LA seems to be enjoying the perks of being the current apple of the eye of a top network executive these days. However, favoritism can be fickle, and if LA does not closely watch out, he might be replaced. Perhaps, LA should be more humble and respectful of his fellow showbiz workers. After all, those who have lasted long in the business are the actors who sowed humility and respect towards people in the industry regardless of their status. Thus, no matter how many intrigues have come their way, these actors still have projects, loyal fans, and respect.

Let’s Get Loud And Party

Everyone lives somewhere and no matter where that is, you have a neighbor, near or far. You may love where you live or wish you were somewhere completely different, either way, everyone wants to feel safe and connected. By being neighborly, you increase your sense of security and home pride.

Locally, there are socializing activities in some subdivisions, even in the more affluent communities. The neighborhood associations make it a point to initiate socializing among neighbors NE in order to foster friendship and camaraderie. Knowing the people around you can bring a sense of security. Good neighbors are great—who doesn’t want them, right?

Peaceful co-existence with NE is an etiquette that has to be observed at all times. No friendship can result if we are not good NE ourselves. If we can not offer friendship, at least being polite and considerate is the least we can do. As NE, we should respect each other's space and comfort zone. But if you’re the type who does not give a damn to your “kapitbahay,” then, that might spell issues or trouble in the long run.

If this Controversial Actress CA who lives in an exclusively gated community will not shape up, she might just find herself in shame if her troubled neighbors continue with their plan to petition her for eviction. CA is now a major concern for them. She seems so inconsiderate and stubborn with the noise generated by all the drinking and partying in her house. According to the NE, it’s alright to party, but if you’re constantly being kept up at night because of the noise, then it's a different story.

Residents also see the presence of CA’s boyfriend who comes regularly. These two seem to hit it off because they share one thing in common – the love of the booze. Needless to say, when you are so consumed by alcohol, you let your hair down and party with great abandon. Who cares about the neighbors?

Betrayed by My Friend

It seems that stunning actress (SA) must have learned that even those she considers as closest and trustworthy friends can speak behind her back and reveal her deepest secrets to an unsuspecting audience. Thus, SA must have figured out by now the source of the alleged stories circulating about her.

First, SA is allegedly bragging about her one night experience with athlete-actor (AA). AA is quite good looking and would be anyone’s dream catch especially now that he is single. Too bad, it was probably just physical attraction as they have never been linked. The question is if they hooked up when they were both in their former relationships. Well, AA has moved on and is now paired with another equally stunning talent of their network.

Second, SA is allegedly hooked on a certain habit. This issue is quite critical as SA again has never had any similar issue linked to her name and reputation. Her image has always been clean and wholesome, and the network has kept it that way. Despite her well-publicized break up, SA faced the aftermath with poise and grace.

So, how did these personal details leak out? Well, when friends get into a nasty fight, someone can just say things without thinking of the repercussions of telling stories against the other. The most difficult things in confiding to a friend are that one will never know how long the friendship will last, and if the other party will start talking just because the friendship got tainted by a quarrel or a betrayal.

A Restaurant Meet - Up Story

Cute Actor CA has always been questioned about his preferences. Ever since he got noticed on his television soaps, the same kind of talk hounded him. It maybe partly due to his hunky physique and handsome attributes that people, especially his many women fans can’t seem to accept if he indeed is. Anyway you put it, the fact that since such rumors refuse to die down, there must be something than meets the eye.

To his credit, CA just let these talks go around and take its course – he neither denied nor confirmed it, not until recently when he flatly denied the whole thing and all the gossips that went around for sometime. Some observers were not convinced. Celebrities especially for someone as popular as CA, tend to catch people’s attention anywhere they go, and that includes parties and/or gatherings they attend to.

At a dinner that he recently attended along with some good friends, CA was in a celebratory mood and allegedly got one drink too many. The party venue was held in a relatively pricey restaurant. While some waiters were serving them, CA took a liking to one of the waiters WR. Throughout the party, his eyes were fixated towards WR alone - his special waiter that evening.

A day after, at the same restaurant, waiters were having a blast talking animatedly about the scoop of the day: CA took home WR! Apparently, WR, the kiss and tell, was bragging to his colleagues about his extra-ordinary and unforgettable evening with CA the night before. WR said he just couldn’t get over CA - his kindness, his generosity, his versatility and full-packed giftedness. Oh uh …

Making Love Groove

Pretty Star PS and Hunky Actor HA seem to be enjoying each other’s company – and their new relationship – if rumors are to be believed. Most likely, their relationship bloomed along with their respective characters in their show together. PS who was previously alleged to be in a relationship with a Dramatic Actor DA is now happily singing beautiful music with HA. To be fair with DA, he loved PS so very much and he believed it was a mutual love he shared with her. They were often sighted dining out together and doing things like normal lovers do. But unfortunately, not all good things are meant to last.

Their problems came about when PS’ Mother expressed her big disapproval of her daughter’s relationship with DA. It was alleged that PM did not want PS to get involved with “just anyone” aka someone of lesser stature in life. This had been a constant battle between mother and daughter. In the beginning, PS tried to assert her right to her Mom for her to run her own life. It came to a point that Mom allegedly slapped her for being stubborn and not listening to her. It was at this point that PS gave up, and began staying away from DA that led to their eventual break-up. In the end, it was Mom who prevailed.

Now that PS is seeing another guy in HA, things are turning up roses. She is certainly having the best of both worlds as she finally got the approval of her very difficult and picky mother. And why not? HA is definitely a prized catch in every aspect - extremely good-looking, talented, and most of all – moneyed. That was what’s important to her Mom, according to people within their circle.

Meanwhile, HA is getting encouraged by his blooming feelings for PS. Both have gotten very close and really inspire each other – according to fans and co-workers.They haven’t openly admitted it, but in one interview, HA wanted to bring their friendship to a higher level. That is a breath short of admitting the real score. How long will it last? Only Mom can tell, perhaps?
