Ruelala, Shoelala: Happy Feet

I'm inviting you all to join Rue La La, one of my favorite invitation only shopping sites. Join me via my invitation link.

I wanted to share my Rue La La excitement because I was THRILLED when I saw my recent submission for the their #shoelala sweepstakes used on their cover photo on Facebook.  It was also pinned on their Pinterest board.  It's like having a crush on someone and then finding out that they like you back!

I entered the contest via Twitter. The photo I sent is pictured on the right. My camera on my phone isn't the best but I wanted to enter as soon as I saw the tweet!

To be entered for a chance to win the grand prize of $500 in Rue Credit all you have to do is show Rue LaLa your shoes.  Also up for grabs are $50 runner up prizes! For details on how to enter visit Rue LaLa's blog.

The contest is open until August 1 so hurry and get your entry in!

I love that I can shop for designer brands at crazy good prices. Since becoming a Mom, I really don't shop for myself like I used to.  When I do treat myself, I try to get the most for my money.  I can do that with Rue La La

If you are already a Rue La La fan, I would LOVE to know what you've scored.  One of my favorite purchases from Rue is my Michael Kors Newbury Satchel.

Happy shopping! Please wish me luck in the Rue La La Shoelala contest!  And good luck to you too!

The Newly Renovated Traffic Footwear Store in the Power Plant Mall

Traffic Footwear store is the newest style hub at the Rockwell Center. The store’s sleek and minimalist interior makes the shoes displayed on layers of racks as focal point. Dim lighting contrasts the brightly colored Kartel footwear and patent Frank dress shoes.

The latest Traffic Footwear collection carries elegant and affordable dress shoes made from genuine leather and casual shoes in suede, rubber-soled and upper leather. Frank brogue and lace ups shoes are perfect for both class presentations and client meetings while Kartel sneakers and casual sandals are the perfect alternatives to the usual blacks and browns. Comfort and seamless designs of Traffic Footwear makes it the best choice for men. Traffic Footwear Fall 2011 Collection is available at the newly opened Traffic Store located at the Ground Floor of Power Plant Mall.

I went to the Power Plant Mall yesterday to check out the prices of the leather loafers in the Traffic Store. I was surprised to find out that the prices of the shoes were all below 4,000 PhP. I think they are relatively inexpensive considering the design and the quality. I hope Traffic gives away gift certificates to lucky Fashion PULIS readers very soon.

Jeremy Scott X Addidas

These fluffy, huggable and lovable Fall/Winer 2011 Panda Bear Sneakers by Jeremy Scott X Addidas are worth 180 USD per pair. Unfortunately, they are sold out on Opening Ceremony as of the moment. Are you thinking of ordering a pair? I am sure your kids will be very envious if you wear them.

Shoe Chandeliers

When I posted the photos of Landmark's shoe rack chandeliers, one of the readers informed me that she has seen something similar in Henri Bendel New York's show window in 2009. So, I decided to do a Google search for shoe chandelier and these were some of the photos I saw. I am particulary in love with the second one that used glass shoes. Which one do you like most?

Good Things Come in Threes

What are the chances of seeing three of your girl friends wearing the same shoes all at the same time? Last February 20 when I attended the wedding of Mike and Jane at the New World Renaissance Hotel, I was so amazed to see three friends all wearing the YSL Tribute Sandals, but in different shades. They looked so cute together, we just had to take a photo.

Let me introduce the shoe owners from left to right:  Vivian Tan-Cua's YSL in navy, yours truly, Joan Dy-Lim's YSL in beige and Nelly Tee-See's YSL in black.
