LRG urine test may help diagnose appendicitis

Appendicitis is the most common emergency in childhood, yet 3-30% of appendectomies may be unnecessary. Urine test for leucine-rich alpha-2-glycoprotein (LRG) may help diagnose appendicitis in children.
